6. Newt talks down to everyone

He's a blowhard pompous ass who will have a difficult time connecting with anyone other than die hard Republicans. Even then he won't really be connecting with them as much as the fact that 30% of the population will vote party line regardless of who the candidate is.

I don't see him winning independents or moderates. I remember Bush was able to connect with some people because they found him to be the kind of person they would like to have a beer with. Newt won't resonate with those people at all. Newt isn't the least bit personable. And his wife is pretty much the same. She's all plastic and unpleasant; more about the bling than about connecting with women.

What is going on now is just theater to sell books and get on TV, all but Romney (he has a permanent campaign going) are not really running and could never get elected if they did run. Also the money from donors pays for it all.
This show keeps us from talking about the real issues like jobs and justice.
