and the cheering by thread participants of these deaths WITHOUT ever knowing that person or ALL of the circumstances surrounding the deaths of these people.
With the platform of the Democratic Party in the past and hopefully the future being against the death penalty IN ANY FORM, why is this barbaric practice permitted on DU? Cheering the death of or using deaths of anyone to further a political position (gun rights) is against what we as a party (and as human beings) stand for.
It is barbaric to think that posting about the deaths of strangers is sufficient to scare people into believing that gun carry or possession is the only answer.
The Right is against a women's right to choose, why should we be for the death of anyone, especially those not convicted of a crime?

That forum is for discussing gun policy. Apparently the folks in that forum (on both sides of the debate) believe it helps their case to post stories of people killed by guns, or about people who use guns for self defense. If you don't like it, don't go in there.
