MSNBC is reporting that the Seals were involved in the take down, CIA did the intel, worked it for 8 mos.
I'm worried about all our troops and diplomats in harm's way. I expect their will be big time retaliation.
I'm retired Navy, have nothing but the upmost respect for the Seals. Thank your cousin for me.

MSNBC reported that it was the Seals. A friend of mine on FB wanted to see pictures of his severed head. I told her the Seals probably ate it! LOL!

The Navy has their guys, the Army has their guys, the CIA has their guys. Could have been any of them, or maybe even someone else we've never heard of.

I can't believe the sense of relief I feel at someone's death. But yes, I feel relief - for the families of the 9/11 victims and the families of all the soldiers who died.

since the unit he was with got folded into the SEALs years after he left the service. Actual SEALs don't tend to like that.

however, UDT's and SEAL's went through the same initial training. The early SEAL teams consisted of UDT volunteers who underwent additional land warfare training before going to Vietnam. SEAL's take a great deal of pleasure in busting phonies, but most (though not all) who have expressed an opinion in public one way or the other don't make a big deal about Ventura. They view the UDT/SEAL distinction as splitting hairs. There are some exceptions, but like I said, most don't see it as a big deal.

| 26. I went through SERE training with Seals and UDT and I'm here to tell you they are some tough ol boys |
|
and remained at the training camp for a tour of duty before my trip to Vietnam. This was in early 68 when I went through SERE training and yes they are two different units but for the most part they go through the same training. And yes even us the trainers are sworn to secrecy. After 43 years theres still not much I can talk about what went on in SERE training other that what I've said here a few times concerning the training.

He compared his experiences with his uncles (two Navy pilots) and his cousin (also a Navy pilot). Apparently, the training hasn't changed in the past 30+ years. They all had very similar experiences.

|
Personally I had no idea what I'd done to piss someone off cause I must have for them to be putting me through all this. Come to find out when the buses were leaving with the students I was not put on the bus. The whole purpose of my training was because I was going to be a part of the training crew. Navy Seals and UDT are the best trained individuals in the world, I can attest to that.
