| Obama was one cool customer at the Correspondents Dinner ... having just given the order ... |
|
... on Friday night, for special forces to go get Osama bin Laden. Imagine having to deliver a comedy routine, and then sit there and yuck it up with Seth Meyers, while waiting to find out whether a military action that his administration and intelligence forces and armed forces had been working on since AUGUST, with the mission of getting the most wanted man in the world, was going to work during the weekend.
Between that, and his performance at the podium tonight ... he was such a strong leader, and so very very presidential, this weekend.

Had this been botched, it would have been ugly and who knows when the next chance would have been. But thankfully it was a well planned and executed operation. And it's incredible how no one was informed - including the Pakistanis.
In retrospect, it's amazing seeing Obama yesterday, cool as he could be, tearing that clown apart, all the while knowing the most hunted and hated man in the world would possibly be dead in a day.
Wow.

And then to see the Donald in the audience.
Major league vs little league.

If you watch the video, you will see Obama looking out, perhaps at Gates and the people around him with a certain ironic, "just wait till they find out" sort of glint in his eye. It was like, "If they only knew." Quite interesting.

I have my disappointments with Obama but right now I'm completely blown away by him and very proud of how he handled this. :applause: :patriot:
