Dear President Obama

I am but a small citizen of Canada. It is etched into my memory the events of 911, the pain, horror and grief. I did not lose any family members that day. But I remember the shock...that gutwrenching twist knowing that our world changed.


After hearing the news of the death of OBL, and letting it sink in, all sorts of feelings have erupted that I must acknowledge, I feel unworthy to bear. I am not american. I did not lose anyone close to me. And yet......the tears are oh so close to falling.

So, Mr. President Obama, even though I am a nobody, a bystander, it is with the deepest of conviction and respect that I have only two words to say to you......
