| So does this mean I can go to the airport without getting groped? |
|
Edited on Mon May-02-11 11:56 AM by KamaAina
Or better still, that we can get the fsck out of Afghanistan?
No? I thought not.
So what does it mean? Why, exactly, are people dancing in the streets, other than out of raw, bloodthirsty revenge?
edit: For me, this ought to be a time of somber reflection on how the country has changed in the past ten years, and, of course, on the thousdands he killed.

to salute our fine troops who put themselves in harm's way every day, and to honor the great country I call home.
Raw, bloodthirsty revenge? No. I'm happy that that ruthless murderer has assumed room temperature. I'm not sure what you're upset about.

That's what it means. Did you expect it to mean something else?
I recently went to the airport. I was not groped. I walked through the metal detector and to my gate.
I'm not dancing in any streets.
What it means is that Osama bin Laden is dead.

| 7. "stopped" as in dismissing the question entirely. Sure, it exists as a post... |
|
The question is what kind of discussion such a post engenders. Many similar ones have been met with a lot of scorn here, these past 12 hours, so we shall see.

The bin Laden event has nothing whatever to do with the other things mentioned. Logic. It is what it is.

TSAgov Agent Smith Sorry, but it's going to take more than a dead terrorist to get rid of us. We're the herpes of government agencies. #TSA

It's the only thing that makes a visit to the airport worthwhile.
