These were guys who talked while NOT being subjected to torture or "harsh interrogation techniques" which Obama outlawed at Gitmo. From the code names the prisoners had of OBL's trusted couriers, our intelligence on the ground determined their names, found them, tracked them to the compound and the operation was planned to take him out.

We received the specific location of the courier last August after tracking his possible movements over the last 4 years.
