| The Democrats! Fuck Yeah! |

Bin Laden Killing Erases Democrats' Wimp Factor by Peter Beinart Three days ago, Republicans were getting ready to run against (Obama) for supposedly pursuing a foreign policy doctrine of “leading from behind.” Now all those generalities have evaporated. Obama has inoculated himself against charges that he’s soft on national security in a more visceral way than any Democrat in decades. Even getting out of Afghanistan will be easier now. Does he deserve all the praise he’s getting? Not quite; this was more a triumph for intelligence and Special Forces than for Obama’s foreign policy strategy. But for decades, Democrats have taken undeserved abuse. There will be less of that now, and for a long time to come. http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2011-05-03/osama-bin-laden-killing-erases-democrats-and-obamas-weakness-stereotype/2/via: http://andrewsullivan.thedailybeast.com/2011/05/the-liberal-achilles-heel.html

| 2. Democrats Do It Better. |

Seriously, we do everything better than republicans.
They break it, we fix it as much as possible, idiots vote republicans back into office, they break it, we fix it again, and so on.
I ask Independents that defend republicans, after setting them up with several Dem accomplishments, like SS and Medicare, and then say--
"OK, tell me one good thing that republicans have done for you".
They get a blank look, and go, "Uh, duh, er...well, I can't think of anything right now."

Can anyone even name ONE single thing the republicans have ever did in the past 50 years for the better of society or our citizens? Anything?

Edit to add: it takes absolutely nothing away from our military and intelligence personnel in crediting Obama and his staff--they were all responsible and share the credit. However, had this gone bad, Obama alone would get the blame.

They are truly immune to hypocrisy. Pity they don't have the same anti-bodies when it comes to stupidity, malice and greed.

"...the Democrat Party owes us an apology." That's about the new lie they are pushing i.e. torture responsible for finding Bin Laden. Hmmm, what was that country that esepoused using the Big Lie for propaganda purposes?

|
It's all about the "image" the GOP has crafted, for decades now. There was never any truth to it in the first place.
