...but they're forgetting a couple of very important facts:

1. GHW Bush had to run against Bill Clinton. There are no "Bill Clintons" running for the GOP this year.

2. GHW Bush had to run against a 3rd-party candidate that pulled in 19% of the vote and who disproportionately pulled in more traditionally GOP voters than Dem voters.

3. GHW Bush didn't have the knowledge of what happened to GHW Bush in 1992 like the Obama team has. ;-)
