| Gosh Bill Clinton sure is lucky he didn't kill Osama Bin Laden. |

He might have been prosecuted as a war criminal! Or extra legal murder...whatever.

It looks like an obtuse freeper joke. I don't get it.

| 3. People are accusing Obama of who knows what for killing Osama Bin Laden. |
|
They would have been accusing Bill Clinton of the same thing if he had killed Bin Laden during the Lewinsky days.
Clinton would have saved us from 9/11 but would have gotten nothing but grief from many here.

Yes, there sure is a bunch of hand wringing about it. I've stopped paying attention to those threads.
I say, great job, Obama. No complaints from me.

| 4. Did he have an unarmed bin Laden in a room full of Navy SEALS? |
|
I'm not sure people here are calling Obama a criminal for this. Some people prefer a capture and trial to summary execution. Why mock seeking legal justice?

Back then it might have been even more of a crime...a preemptive strike.
I wonder if they would have called for Clinton's impeachment.

"Seeking legal justice" was simply not possible in this country at this time; and OBL needed to be taken out however possible.

| 8. And just what makes it not possible in this country at this time? |
|
Are we Somalia?
If our justice system is that badly compromised it's time for another revolution.
I don't think it is. We arrest, prosecute, and judge thousands of people every day in this country. What makes arrest, prosecution, and judgement of someone like OBL impossible?

| 9. He is in another country probably being protected by that government. |
|
How is it legal to even capture him? Capture or kill is probably both illegal.

| 10. His capture might be illegal under international law - unless by agreement with |
|
Pakistan - but that has nothing to do with the trial in the US.
Your contention was that justice was not possible in THIS country.
Back that up.
