When your congresscritter repeatedly declines the opportunity to speak with those constituents who are NOT members of his party, what do you do? Around here, there's a new group, Eyes On Congress, that's decided to follow him anyway, to make sure he knows that WE know what he's up to. Members of that group (they now have a website www.coeyesoncongress.com ) joined up with some folks from MoveOn to be there when said congressman was avoiding them.

Via his beleaguered staffers, Gardner advises that there will be no town hall meetings, no public Q and A meetings of any kind until September. So much for his promised accessibility.

So, Representative Gardner (R, CO4), be advised: neither rain, nor sleet, nor dark of your sneakiness in trying to hide, will keep us from continuing to try to have the conversation we have every right to demand.
