| I turned 42 today and it's been fucked. |

I found out this morning, through back channels, that I am going to be RIF-ed on July 3. I came home this afternoon to find a cut off notice from the gas company. I had harsh words with the gas company rep over my request to get it turned back on. The gas company brought an officer of the law while they restored service. Said officer threatened to arrest me for being impolite to gas co rep. Gas service was restored. Asked officer for his name and badge number and received pontification of how seriously bad he was and if I had a problem he would take me in. Called police shift supervisor and finally received the words of reason for the evening.
If this is the worst day of year 42 I'll be ecstatic.

I got a bullet in the leg 2 weeks before my birthday this year. 42 also. They caught the guy after a 7 hour standoff.
