Given how republicans operate, isn't better business for them to have Obama as President?

Don't they always need something to fear? So without Obama, who gonna take away their guns, enslave doctors, negotiate with terrorists, end Christianity, destroy America, etc?
So having him out of office would eliminate the Boogeyman - and they need the Boogeyman around as long as possible - see Osama Bin Laden.

Besides I think they have learned that it is much easier to criticize others ideas than to come up with any of their own - see Sara Palin.

So what do you think? Just my Question of the day.

They were completely running things nearly non-stop from 2001-2007 yet they continually warned us that Democrats were still threatening the fabric of the universe. If you ever tuned in to the right-wing hate radio shows during that time period, you might've thought that Democrats/progressives/non-Republicans were still in charge and/or threatening to destroy the country- kind of like how fundamentalist Christians are always claiming that they are an oppressed majority. :shrug:

2. The economy always does better during Democrat administrations.

Funny business folks haven't figured that out yet.
