What if the Rapture actually happened May 21st?

I haven't heard of one mainstream religious leader going missing. The Pope is still earthbound, Not one Faux talking head has vanished. All the fundy cafeteria christians we see on TV are still earthbound...Every single freakin'
family-values Christian conservative Republican is, regrettably, still earthbound. Not worthy to be in God's presence.

If the Rapture did occur, could it mean we are so sinful as a race that God took no one?

The Rapture did happen on May 21, 2011
Just because very few people got sucked up does not negate the fact.
If you thought you should get raptured then you were not worthy of that slide into heaven.
