Question - are Members of the House of Representatives

wives and children covered in health insurance and is it for life or for their time in the House?

1. If they purchase a family plan, yes, they are covered

while they are in the House and pay their annual premiums.

They buy insurance from an "exchange" just like the one all government employees do -- and which all Americans, beginning in 2014, who are in the market for individual insurance, will be able to.
