The Candidate of Change

When the economy's going badly, people want change and they vote for it. Obama was the candidate of change in '08, but he'll be the incumbent in '12. If voters are seeking stability he'll be a shoo-in, but it's unclear how they'll behave if they're still looking to shake things up.



What Will Obama Do Differently?

1. He needs a new speech writer

he needs to remember he is democrat
he needs to admit that the economy is in bad shape
he needs to tell congress that they need to pass laws to protect the majority of the American people
he needs to admit that he will take the blame for the economy but if the republicans will not let him fix it the way he wants to then they will take the blame for it
he needs to call the republicans on all their lies
he needs to replace holder and geithner
he needs to listen to different people and not ceos and wall street people
he needs to get a fire in his belly and at least fight for what is right even if he loses (people love a fighter)
he needs to change a great deal of stuff

2. They should "Shake it up" all they want,

and then they can get back to us with how they end up liking
that "Shaky" thang they impatiently voted for a la 2010!

It's easy to criticize....really much harder to make real change
that ends up being what everybody wanted....Doh!

I think sometimes folks think Obama was suppose to be their personal servant....
i.e., personal savior, and get all everybody's change in 2.5 years in a 4 year term!
So unreasonable, but yet soooo American. :eyes:

4. Yes....I'm one of the reasonable......

Didn't vote to gain a personal servant that would do what I wanted when I wanted.
Plus, I figure if I expand my energies on campaigning against Republicans,
w'ell end up in better shape.....so I understand my priorities at this time,
and it ain't to shit on Pres. Obama everytime I get an urge to do or say something
that might just make a small difference.

30 years of fucked up bullshit, and yet somehow personal servant Obama was supposed to
have fixed most of it to each of our personal liking by now. Like I said....typically

Attempts to re-cast all criticism as some sort of unconscious expectation that the president should behave like a servant... are just disingenuous lashings out... and should be getting a bit embarrassing by now, I'd think. Or are you really militantly supportive of the Republican policies from the '90s which Obama has been "fighting" to put into place?
