It's pretty straightforward where the country's fiscal problems lie and how to fix them. One can find any number of credible, rational solutions on DU any day of the week. Social Security isn't part of the problem except that the pigs who raided it don't want to pay it back. We're hemorrhaging trillions of dollars bailing out Wall Street con men, waging unnecessary boutique wars, subsidizing profitable industries, and relieving the rich of their responsibility to help pay for all that.
