North Carolina House of Representatives over rides Gov. veto of draconian abortion law.

The law would require:
a 24-hour waiting period before an abortion .
and would require women seeking an abortion to view an ultrasound of the fetus prior to the procedure.
The governor vetoed it, the House has over ruled the veto and now it goes to the Senate for approval.

1. This is what happens when people don't vote in mid-terms

Yes, NC went for Obama--first time to go for a Dem president
since Carter.

And what happened in 2010? Dems stayed home and the
the State House and Senate turned Repub for the first
time in memory.

And it ain't over. They are about to enact a gerrymandered
redistricting map that will throw the US House into a 10 Repubs
3 Dems ratio from the existing 7 Dems 6 Repubs ratio.

The Repubs are playing for keeps.
