I have grown to hate the word "compromise"

Don't get me wrong, I believe in compromise and I don't think it's possible to have a democracy without it ... but I hate what the word has come to represent.

"Negotiating" with extremists while staring down the barrel of a gun is not compromise. It never was and it never will be.

There's only one way out of this mess: a clean bill. No one gives anything, no one gets anything. Do it simply because it's what is best for the country.

I hear something coached in "Family Values" I know it going to be some screwed up whacked out idea/position.

I normally firmly believe in compromise. But there is no compromise for an ideological fanatic. It's just impossible to negotiate with someone who refuses to accept a little less than what they want.

Unfortunately, Obama is totally wedded to the idea of compromise in a situation in which compromise is impossible.

What to do?
