Some of us look at things macro economically to look at the big picture

and involve ourselves in political discussions in a desire to promote what we view as the common good. We are not always in it for scoring political touchdowns for a team. It may be a losing strategy politically sometimes but is how we are wired. This is probably the essence of some of the conflicts here. Being in a serious time in history probably doesn't help at the present. But don't lose sight we are all in this together.
