S&P tried to kill US once and didn't quite succeed. Now it's
pulling the plugs on our life support. After the crash that it will probably cause on Monday, will it downgrade US again and again after that?

1. So how deep into the financial hole are we allowed to go before we implode?
What S&P did should be a wake up call before it is too late for anyone to do anything.

We absolutely have to do something and waiting till we crash before doing anything will be catastrophic.
