...then he should ask for the votes of every American that believes that not only should the Bush taxcuts be extended, but there should also be a 10% surtax on every millionaire and billionaire that lives or does business in this country. You wanna see Republican heads explode??
Also, he should ask for the support of every American that wants a job or needs a job and believes that if the private sector cannot create those jobs, then the government has a responsibility to help these folks survive. Whether the Republicans admit it or not, we are all in this boat together. It's just that some are doing the rowing and some are sitting on the sundeck with an umbrella drink. After a dozen years of this coddling of the rich, it is time for them to pay their fair share. Ironically, most millionaires and billionaires are OK with paying more taxes. It is the radical ideologues of the Republican Party that think otherwise.
It is time to ask the voters to come to the aid of their country. It is time to get rid of those Republicans that obstruct and block everything that is done to try to help the people of this country.
If the President wants to "go big", he will propose legislation that will put the Republicans on the defensive and make them defend their insane actions. We need the people to help us get rid of this scourge that has taken over our Congress.
The President needs to get serious. Republicans hate his guts. They are not going to agree with anything he proposes. Therefore, he should propose solutions that will help this country get back on its feet and ask for a new Congress to help him put these solutions in place. He needs to stir up the people.
