| Anyone hear Sen John Thune on NPR this morning? He's against earmarks & when the reporter |
|
reminded him that he asked for $180 billion in earmarks for his State he says, "All of those earmarks have been properly vetted and errrr, I approve of those earmarks."
F'ing hypocrite.

| 2. Ugh. Hypocrisy is their mantra. Why their people don't see it or accept it |
|
is beyond my understanding.

How sad that a journalist doing their job is now something to celebrate.

| 5. Watched that whole sequence on Rachel Maddow last night |
|
It was high larious. Thune and Cornyn kept insisting there was nothing wrong with voting against earmarks they requested, but for once the reporters kept right in their faces and made them look like the asshats they are.

Probably just so they could say they did vote "NO" However, they will hope that the bill passes inorder for them to each have their cake and eat it too.

Earmarks are bad, unless they're MY earmarks, then they're fine.
