Rollins Says Bachmann is a One State Candidate

Ed Rollins, former campaign manager and current "informal adviser" to Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) told MSNBC that Bachmann doesn't have the "ability or the resources" to go beyond Iowa in the presidential race.

I find it unseemly for her former campaign manager, who was happy to take her cash, to be out there trashing her so he can ingratiate himself to the CW class again. He should keep his mouth shut--at least until she drops out of the race.

8. I thought the same thing

I doubt Rollins comes cheap. He was telling donors to give her (and by extension, him) money because she had a shot. Once he got his cut and bailed, he's now telling those same people the opposite. It's pretty damn shady, but nobody ever accused political operatives of being saints, I guess.

He's probably right. With Perry in the race, I think Bachmann is toast outside of Iowa. But I feel ok saying that since I never took money to say the exact opposite.
