adults to get a cochlear implant after being deaf since before I was born. I was there the first time he heard baby birds in the tree and I'll never, ever forget that moment. He is very proud of the fact that he did it when it was experimental and that the studies they did on him make it possible for doctors to help little kids to hear now.
