Mittens: It's not his role to 'scold' audience members at GOP debates
Pandering to the base yet again:

Mitt Romney said it isn’t his role to “scold” the sometimes vocal audiences at Republican presidential debates — whether crowd members are booing a gay solider or applauding the number of executions of Texas prisoners.

“I would tell you that in these debates there has been a lot of booing and a lot of applause. Cheering and booing,” Mr. Romney said Monday during a 70-minute interview with the New Hampshire Union Leader, which was broadcast on CSPAN. “Now I have not made it my practice to scold the audience and say, ‘I disagree with this person. I agree with that person.’ Because it goes a lot of different directions.”

During last month’s GOP debate in Florida, members of the audience booed after a gay soldier member asked former Sen. Rick Santorum if he should be allowed to serve. Mr. Santorum said he couldn’t hear the boos at the time, but has since condemned them. So has former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, and most recently, Herman Cain said he should have defended the soldier while on stage.

Mr. Romney said he understood Mr. Cain’s thoughts, but said he wouldn’t get involved.

1. Aren't Republicans a peculiar breed?
They can hear things nobody else can, but they can't hear things that everybody else can. It's the darnedest case of selective deafness medicine has ever seen!

2. Mitt's strategy is to hide like a prairie dog and let the press pick off his fellow
GOP whack jobs candidates.

I imagine if you took off his $3k jacket you'd find a big yellow streak.

4. Of course not, Mitt.....
Because you're a fucking coward who's just waiting for the Powers That Be to appoint you to the Presidency so they can pull your strings as you toll the final bell for this country with your vile corporatist policies.

His answer was deserving of a jellyfish...he'll be a weak, weak president.

7. Silence is consent
If he doesn't disagree with their bad behavior, then he must agree with it. Good, now we have that all cleared up. :)

make a buck any way they can!

And toward that end, an enterprising fellow by the name of Joseph Smith "re-invented" Christianity, (as in, dreamed up a whole NEW set of fantasies to go along with the original fairy tales) in his own name, and probably made a fortune doing it, too!

10. It's not his role to stand up for decency.
And certainly not for honor.

Well, OK, he has clearly defined what he is, then.

14. An outright scolding wouldn't have been necessary, actually...
The very least anyone could have done was to frown and shake his/her head at the ones booing.

SOME kind of reaction!!!
