Winter Storm warning for Colorado!

It may be fall, but a winter storm warning has been issued for southwestern Colorado. The National Weather Service says some areas could receive up to 12 inches of snow by Thursday night. The weather service is warning hikers and motorists to be prepared for quickly changing conditions beginning Wednesday.

9. If this is the same storm that moved through California last night...

...our newsies were talking this morning about the fact that it's the earliest winter storm warning issued in 20 years. It's very unusual for California to get snow-producing storms in the beginning of October.

Couple this with the fact that it didn't stop snowing until late June, and there was snow in the mountains until mid-July, and this turns out to be one of the shortest California summers in memory.

3. yea... winter is a comin. i am in jacket, pants and slippers. toesies are cold...

i love my winters.

i am under colorado and get their stuff sometimes.

we have had blizzard type weather on halloween. couldnt figure why parents had their little ones out in it.

I'm in NM and it stormed all night. I slept with socks on and I'm wearing a cardigan and I don't think I've ever been this glad to see cool weather before. This summer was a stinker.

it's raining, we are under wind advisory, and the temperature has dropped 20 degrees from yesterday.

I miss SoCal sometimes. Seasons are highly overrated.

12. I can remember being completely snowed in

around the 1st of September one year in Colorado. Also the end of May. Makes me glad I live in Alaska where the snow doesn't fly until the end of October. :rofl:
