| It is scary how LITTLE fear the cops have of getting in trouble! |
|
They know their ass is not going to be charged with a crime or punished at all! They really are not worried about video at all! I am sure the word has come down that they are not going to be investigated.

NY has a long and occasionally violent history. Watching the cop lashing out with the baton reminded me about the stories of the old days. Still, 20 arrests and some beaten up reporters isn't as bad as it could be.

| 13. After all of the shit they got away with in their practice run (aka war on drugs) who is surprised. |

Edited on Wed Oct-05-11 11:59 PM by Gregorian
I always knew the war on drugs was just a precursor to what was to come. A means by which they could build up their authority against the citizens. While people were snoozing, like watching COPS, the nation was going down a very disturbing path. But since drugs (and people who speak up) are bad, who would resist the increase in police powers. After all, those kinds make up a very small minority. Except when we need to all speak out. Like now. And then, oops.
