| Ummm...the President is speaking now. ABC is carrying it. |
|
He's calling out the Rs on not doing anything legislatively re: jobs. Questions being taken now from press corps.

submitted his own jobs legislation to Congress? If he's a leader and if he really gives a shit about job creation then he'll take the iniative and do so rather than waiting to mediate the differences in Congress. If not, then this is just more political posturing.
Leaders assume the risks of taking the iniative to accomplish things. Talk is cheap. Obama could be a great President. But he's going to have to grow a spine and take some iniative first.

| 6. I believe he has and part of this press conference is to push the |

senate into voting for it. You know, he could hand a copy of the Constitution hand penned in his own blood and this Congress would find a reason to declare it anti-business and anti-American and run it through the shredder. I don't get why Congress continutally gets a pass on DU and all of the anger is focused on one man.

of any jobs legislation proposed by the President. I don't know whether he has or hasn't proposed such legislation. I'd be delighted to find out he has in fact done so.
If he doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to put forth his own legislative proposal then he ought not complain that Congress has not done likewise. I call bullshit on that kind of hypocritical political posturing and pandering. It reeks of something less than leadership.
