| Hank Williams' only problem with the 1st Amendment is that he has no idea what it actually says. |
|
Hank, baby! You are still free to stagger down to any street corner in America and reveal yourself to be an ignorant, no-talent, cousin-humping, jackass. The government hasn't forbidden you from saying a thing. But, and you'll have to trust me on this one, the Constitution does NOT guarantee you a salary and a national TV forum to display how fucking stupid you truly are. All you have done is to expose yourself as yet another in a long line of conservative shitheads who, while attempting to wrap themselves in the Constitution, prove that they really don't know a thing about it.
Now ... ARE YOU READY FOR SOME UNEMPLOYMENT?

I think people forget that. You are accountable for the things you say.

ESPN made a business decision and he wants to call it a violation of free speech?
Being paid for a product, and his song for MNF was a product, is not free speech.
The part about being paid for it, changes the free speech argument.
