| 3. I've been warning since last week that the movement will be co-opted. |
I doubt that this character will have an impact. But it might give others ideas.

It's always the danger when a mass movement takes off. And it's ESPECIALLY dangerous for these amorphous "consensus building" types of movements. Who's got the money and time to take over these General Assemblies? The capitalists of course.

| 8. Yup. Just like original Tea Party. Before they knew what was happening, |
the original organizers had been kicked to the curb, and bemoaning the fact that Sarah Palin had been crowned Queen of the TP, without a coronation. Not long after, K Street got involved to the tune of millions. While I respect the original intent of OWS, I'm keeping a respectful distance. :hi:

| 11. Have you ever listened to anything Buddy Roemer has said? |
He was saying the exact same things weeks and months before OWS was even heard of...He is not the typical Republican at all. He is for campaign finance reform and doing away with the Citizen's United Decision. He hates dirty politics and will not accept any PAC money.. As a Liberal I could only hope the Republicans could nominate someone like him...He sounds more like a Liberal than a Republican and I wish him well.
