since the cops in boston want to beat peaceful protestors the next stop is to start to shutdown the city... if a group of protestors were to for example block some on=f the main streets coming into the financial district during rush hour... or to slow down train service my sloooooooowwwlllyyy entering and exiting trains the resulting chaos will help show the police the error of their ways..
(im all for peaceful protest until the first blow is struck... the cops in boston have struck the first blow)

| 3. That's not how it works |
|
Civil disobedience works when there are enough arrests to completely overwhelm the system.
Civil disobedience works when they get violent and show the fence sitters just who is who.
Civil disobedience is when enough people are fed up enough to tell the cops to go ahead and arrest them, no we won't post bail, and they'd better be damned ready to arrest us in the millions.
Civil disobedience doesn't work when it makes commuters late for work. That just pisses off people who should be allies.

| 5. +1! If they arrest everybody all of their friends with guts will come out to protest. I also |

believe in organized labor just striking outright, but you're right, purposely having a hundred people walk slow across streets or park their cars on the highway is not the same as an organized strike, or more specifically, just continuing protesting. http://www.zazzle.com/the_party_of_no_has_to_go_gop_republicans_obstruct_bumper_sticker-128224072221438203?rf=238107662556833486

I'm going to add my body to the protests. If beaten upon, I solemnly swear to abstain from beating the living mother fuck out the people beating upon me for the sake of the movement.

That man knew the power of peaceful protest.

Get yourself badly ripped off by a cheap car dealer... the kind that would sell you a heap of junk that would break down, right in the middle of a busy intersection during the Monday morning rush hour.
Get hundreds of your friends to get ripped off by the same guy.
He's a lowlife shark that guy. There ought to be a law against it.

More people will come out, and more veterans will come out. And maybe more unions will come out.

When the BPD threw the American flag to the ground, desecrating it, that's when I knew this wasn't my father's America. Roughhousing veterans exercising their first amendment rights is a new low.
You cannot be a patriot and NOT get pissed off seeing that.

Forget something, go back for it, remember that you had it all the time, realise that it's not the one that you wanted, so you will still have to go back, oh, no, wait a minute, maybe it's this way...
