blocks to the Federal Reserve Bank? It's an appropriate symbol and the property appears to be large enough.

Zuccotti park is privately owned but is required by the city of New York to remain publicly accessible 24/7.
The intention of the property owners to clear the park for cleaning may be some kind of "ruse" to make the protestors go away but they're not going away. They will stand strong and I support OWS in its effort.

But does the plaza belong to the city? If so, then Bloomberg can just order the protesters out.
That is the beauty of Zuccotti park - the loophole factor.

but i think the loophole factor is no longer needed. they cant throw them out any longer. that's why they are looking for way to make them leave like taking away their sleeping bags.

Zuccotti park does not belong to the city, the state or the federal government. It is privately owned with a contract that stipulates it must be publicly accessible 24/7. Bloomberg can't just come in and order people out. But he can order people out of a park that belongs to the city.

In comparison to Zuccotti park. If the city owns the plaza near the fed then the mayor can simply order them out, as opposed to the privately owned Zuccotti park.

| 9. Exactly. OWS would take the victim role and be forced back. No surrender, no retreat! |
