| Michael Steele seems to have forgotten, as he praises Cain, how the rethugs wanted his butt |

out of leadership in their party. His rantings that the rethugs will embrace and nominate Cain is laughable.

| 1. While I agree Cain is a longshot, it's not the longest shot. |

Remember, the Reps have tried the tactic of throwing a conservative black man against Obama before. See 2004 and Alan Keyes. It's a desperation tactic when they can't find anyone else... and it's conceivable that they might do it again, although it would come down to an admission that they're desperate. All their "real conservatives" (meaning real white conservatives) have imploded, they don't want to nominate the "cultist" Romney despite the big money supporting him, so a sacrificial lamb candidate might be their last choice.

didn't publicly put down his race enough. The Tea Pukes love Cain for just that reason, he never passes up the opportunity to portray other African Americans as being lazy, brainwashed, or racists.
The Tea Party may say they want the truth from their politicians, but in reality, they just want to be stroked. They want politicians to parrot their backward ass beliefs to make themselves feel better about being the scum that they are.
