We need a centralized "Corporate Blacklist." Those corporations to avoid now

and in the future. Those doing outrageous crimes against the citizens. Not all corporations are evil, but some are, and they should be visibly recognized for such. I'm not saying this be on DU, but some easily accessible location so citizens can avoid these corporations for products and services.

Somehow, it would need national visibility so citizens would know its availability.

Blacklisting corporations would be an interesting challenge as to validation and legality.

Companies that do business only with other businesses, governments, and institutions are hard to influence this way.

Banking, investment services, insurance, food, apparel, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automobiles, sporting goods, etc. would be easier to influence.

6. I think it might be easier, in the short run, to list products...

...to be avoided.

Many of the worst corporate citizens are difficult to avoid, because you don't actually give them your money. Monsanto, for example.

However, certain products made or sold by some of the worst corporate citizens are easier to target. I'll start:

Brawny paper towels
Dixie cups and other Dixie brand products
Angel Soft and Quilted Northern toilet tissue

These products are all made by Georgia Pacific, which is owned by Koch Industries. Don't buy 'em!

Dunkin' Donuts is owned by the Carlyle Group. That's the company that brought us George W. Bush, 9/11 and Iraq War. I know a lot of people here need their Dunkin' coffee in the morning and don't want to hear about it, but if you want to end war and stuff, it might help to find another brand.

And then of course, there's anything produced by any of the News Corp companies...
