California skydiving sex video, stunt meant for 'Howard Stern Show,' draws attention of FAA instead

A midair collision of the salacious kind is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.

A pair of California skydivers filmed an explicit video of themselves engaged in midair sexual intercourse in a attempt to get themselves on "The Howard Stern Show," Bakersfield, Calif.'s, KGET-TV reported.

The stunt, however, climaxed in a pink slip for part-time skydiving instructor - and professional porn star - Alex Torres, says his boss, David Chrouch, the owner of Skydive Taft.

Chrouch - who was informed about the viral video by local police - said he was still mulling whether to fire Torres' aerial partner, company receptionist Hope Howell.

I have no respect for anything relating to Howard Stern, but I'm not clear why this kind of stupidity is a regulatory or legal issue.

That's not to say the FAA doesn't try to enforce some things that are real head scratchers, but I can't see them actually taking any action against the pilot in this instance. It wasn't as if he was an active participant. There has been several outfits that offered a mile high service to couples, and I don't remember any facing additional FAA scrutiny.

There are laws against lewd and lascivious conduct and indecent exposure. These people should be prosecuted. Sex in midair could be seen by anyone, including children.

God forbid they see a nude body or sex. So un-natural. Far better to place them in front of a TV. No "lewd and lascivious" conduct there. Just, on average, 30 acts of violence a night before you tuck them in to bed.

not every parent lets kids watch whatever garbage is on TV. Our kids our grown now, but we definitely exerted our parental rights to make sure they didn't watch inappropriate material on TV when they were younger.

You can't possibly really believe that a kid could actually see what two people were doing while sky diving.

I'm assuming that your kids either have binoculars welded to their face, or you've genetically spliced them with an eagle. It's not exactly like you can see detail or anything at that distance and speed.

You would have to know before hand and have a powerful pair of binoculars or telescope. To say kids would see it is ridiculous! They would be dead if still in the act at a visible level of the sky!

But what's the big deal? The woman and the guy each wear clothes that make access easy. Say, she's in a bikini and he's in pajama pants.

Adjust the clothing, go at it, then re-adjust the clothing.
