1. Last winter the protests in Madison saw tens of thousands, up to 100-200,000 at times.

One would expect a metropolitan area with millions of people would at least regularly have tens of thousands of protesters and many more on a weekend.

So, how many are really there?

4. When I got home last night....

...I kept looking for reports on the numbers. It was hard to tell how many people were there. We left a bit early, but we felt there were 5,000 - 10,000 marching from Wall Street to Washington Square Park. Then all the news reports said 1,000 - 2,000. Fucking pissed me off.

Wish I'd had a fisheye lens... this is only 1/4 the crowd.
