OWS: My pics from today. "Mic check!" (dialup warning!)

The "Mic check!" is what happens when someone at the park wants to make an announcement. One person yells "Mic check!" and a few respond "Mic check!". Then the original person tries it again and more people respond "Mic check!". On the third time, they get enough "Mic check!"'s to start their announcement.

I helped by announcing upcoming workshops and meetings and events. It's fun and you never know when one is coming.

8. I think I was on it. There was a camera and this man was sort of hosting.

He said,
Why are you here? Tell us your story." So I held up my sign and said a few things about corporate kleptocracy and american democracy and stuff. Amazing. They really want every regular person there owning it. This is totally open. No obvious leadership at all.
