NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams will moderate a GOP presidential debate now set for Jan. 23 at the University of South Florida.

NBC will carry the event. The network had planned to co-host the debate on Jan. 30 at the St. Pete Times Forum.

The Florida Republican primary is now set for Jan. 31. The Tampa debate is co-sponsored by NBC News, National Journal, The St. Petersburg Times, and the Florida Council of 100.

In addition to Williams, anchor and managing editor of "NBC Nightly News" and "Rock Center," there will be panel representatives from National Journal and the St. Petersburg Times.
