2. It's showing up on a bunch of right-wing blogs as fact

that the guy was at ODC, and showing up in the comments in other articles as well. If you look at a blog that states, as a fact, that he was part of the Occupy movement and all that that implies in their minds, they have links to other blogs that say the same thing. If you keep clicking through the links, several links in you discover the original article... one that just says ODC was one of the places they looked for the guy.
