2. A couple of years ago, I saw on sale a pair of pale blue suede penny loafers with gaudy rhinestones

or something fake diamond-y looking) on the front piece, before the penny part.

Soooo not my style. And totally impractical, being both suede and pale blue. Not for New England, at all.

However, Elvis's voice singing Blue Suede Shoes kept going through my head. And they were only $30. So, I bought them online.

When I got them, I found out why they were final sale. Worst made pair of shoes I have ever worn, to the point where I literally cannot walk straight in them because they force my feet into an odd position.

But, every now and then, I'll wear them to a nearby store anyway, just because they make me smile.
