He wrote the letter that started the revolt in the Congress and he's been steadfast in his opposition. Peter Welch has one of the best liberal voting records in the House, and after only 4 years in office, he's turning out to be a truly worthy replacement for Bernie.

He deserves kudos for his principled stand- not only on this, but on so many other issues

I have never been more proud of my elected officials as I was when I lived there... Leahy, Sanders, Welch.
