It's like being forced to give up your own house that you worked many years for, with nowhere else to move that is anywhere comparable to what you had.

Those who forced you to give up your home in order to help someone else feels no moral obligation to help you get back on your feet -- they're done with you.

3. Here's another example

Even though your company earns the bulk of its funds in the USA, for example, moving your head office to Barbados, so that you pay lower corporation tax, to the Barbadan government, and none at all to your real host nation (While still, of course, enjoying all of the protections and services that other people's taxes are buying).
