| I'm not a 99er, I'm a 55-er |

I live in Florida, where the unemployment rate is 12%, and I got nowhere near 99 weeks of benefits.
I worked full time plus overtime the entire period my determination was based on, and my benefits lasted just over a year. Apparently my wage was too low to qualify to be a 99er.
I think the 99er term is misleading. News stories are written making it sound like everyone gets 99weeks of unemployment, but this is clearly not true. I've been trying to find out how many people get that maximum and I can't find that information.
In addition, when the weekly amount of the benefit is reported, they always report the maximum, which is also misleading.

The figures they use are all lies, these people are evil.
