It's like Dad thinking he can beat the kids at their own game. "They're using that internet thing and those text thingies so if I do it I can beat them!"
Do they honestly think they're fooling anybody? Pro-Mubarak "protesters" (who've been pretty much non-existent up till now) suddenly show up by the busload (literally in buses) armed with weapons and start attacking the real protesters. Does anybody really believe they're grassroot?
Yes, absurd is a very good word for it.
