| 1. thank God they interviewed someone from Media Matters... |
|
Showing the ignorance and bigotry of Bill O'Reilly and the overt nationalistic focus of the other networks was really embarrassing, but hardly news to us.
I'm sorry world. Not all of us are so narcissistic, bigoted and ignorant.

| 6. The irony of watching Bill O'Reilly criticizing Al Jazeera |
|
after defending Fox following the attempted assassination of Gabby Giffords and the murder of others was hilarious. Fox of course did not influence the killer but Al Jazeera influences people in the ME against America.
These fuckers are naked. This shit is over. No sensible person buys it anymore. Some of us never bought it.

You never did, and well... I grew up with our own version of Nile TV... Fox is about there.

Gave up to Al Jazeera last night... just plumb switched over to them. I think that was a historic moment.
I know we look like pompous gasbags to the rest of the world... we must. There must be global face-palming when they see our news content.

and it was cringe-inducing because it was right on the money. Corporate news is worthless covering this and most other things because it's got that "what's in it for god, country and corporation?" myopia that prevents it from seeing the real story for what it is.
