Without debate, House approves war funding

WASHINGTON — The House on Friday passed legislation that authorizes the Pentagon to spend nearly $160 billion on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan this budget year without major restrictions on the conduct of operations.

6. Imagine the jobs that could be created if that money was given to each State for infrastructure

repair... $30+ Billion to each state... instead they waste it on wars we can't win, causing more of our brave troops to die for a lie..

4. Meanwhile... China is in Pakistan and Afghanistan quietly making economic deals...

While we piss away precious dollars in Afghanistan... China is moving forward. America.. the dumbest (or most corrupt) people in the world.

7. China is also making deals in Venezuela, while the U.S.

rather than doing the same thing, is sabre-rattling. All we know how to do is war. No imagination, no idea people on how to better spend money and get along with the rest of the world. And we don't even do wars very well. At least before the Iraq and Afghanistan war, people were afraid to attack the U.S. thinking we could start and end a war in a matter of months, as Rummy promised would be all the Iraq War would take. Now they know we can be resisted, for years, and drained of money.

We may as well give the Chinese the Super Power mantel now.

At least when Bush was president, Congress argued over the war funding. Now, there is not even an argument.
