BTW..another note about LIHEAP.

I'm on it; and we got our check for it about a week and a half ago.
I'm very glad we qualified.
HOWEVER.
My local oil companies (I have oil heat, obviously); will NOT take an order for less than 100 gallons.
The last time I ordered, (December sometime); 100 gallons was going for over $300.
The LIHEAP check was for a little over $200.
So either way, it was already a problem. What if I didn't have enough to fill out the rest? I didn't for over a week. I managed to get that taken care of today, but in the meantime, my family was pretty cold last week. And I'm lucky we could get the money together for the extra and the internet. Many cannot do so.
My point is, LIHEAP is already stretched thin or/and does not 'know' (red tape, I'm sure) what the reality is for some families. Now it's going to be cut even more?

1. I'm sorry to hear this. I still am just baffled/ outraged/ depressed by the news that

this administration would even consider cuts to this program-after the tax cuts for the wealthy, no less! I worry that many families will either die from home fires or exposure as a result. Why? Why THIS program?
