| Cenk: Repug State governors deliberately destroying public education for their own purposes |
|
His theory seems to be that if our kids' education is hamstrung, it reduces their opportunities and increases the pool of poorly educated cheap labor. Could he be right? Discuss.

plan being executed to eventually bring the masses down with cheap labor and a low standard of living working for minimal wages. They look at China with their cheap labor, for example, and think that's great. They also would like labor laws and things like OSHA, the EPA and similar gone. It's absolutely incredible and even more amazing Americans vote these people into office. I get soooooooooooooo damn disgusted with all of it ...
We basically have a plot going on working to make this a one party country, GOP, and many Americans seem so damn clueless. We are well into a plutocracy and many are still DUH!

They want slavery back.
If we don't wake up soon, they're going to get it.

THEN, the corporations can re-locate and their CEO's can return to live in their luxurious gated communities in America, AKA, West China.

squarely on the head.
Keep 'em dumb because the military needs cannon fodder, the uberclass needs serfs and the Jeebus indoctrination centers don't need 'em asking questions. The uneducated and stupid are much more easily controlled.

| 8. The modern republican utopia, a recipe: |
|
2 parts plutocracy a la Mexico (1-2% of population with control over 90%+ of the nation's wealth and another 2-4% - their functionaries and enablers - with all the rest, the remainder of the population in virtual serfdom or slavery).
Add 1 part the sort of effective government found in Somalia as far as serving the interests of the majority of the people goes.
Finish with 2 parts Chinese-style wages and working conditions.
Spice generously with private armies to keep the sheeple in line (by gunning them down if they complain) and a big pinch of religulous insanity to fool the gullible.
A dumbed down populace makes this all much easier.

and it's not just to dumb down kids; it's to divert the money streams that presently go to teachers' (and other employees) salaries, benefits & pensions to the top.
