Would African Americans vote for a successful primary challenger in 2012?

If someone were successful in challenging Obama in the primaries, do you think African Americans would vote for that person in the general? If not, could the new democratic nominee win without the black vote? Just wondering if people have really thought this challenge idea through...

1. Well, AA voters had no problem voting for white candidates before Obama.

If an AA voter is displeased with Obama, I don't believe the chances are high that they will still vote for him just because of his skin color.

And - I think what you are getting at is . . . We had to wait another 99 years AFTER the end of the Civil War to get full rights of Citizenship - we can wait 2.5 years to see change/results. . . . so another 4 years isn't a big deal. We've the patience of Saints when it comes to America.

We aren't the Republicans, the minority vote is huge in our party. I don't see how anyone would win the nomination without a fair chunk of the black vote and with that being the case, black folks would turn out for Democrats as always.

However, should something so idiotic happen, Republicans/Conservatives vote against their interests all the time to Republicans/Conservatives elected, so I would say Democrats/Liberals could also vote against their interests to get Republicans/Conservatives elected.
